Saturday started out REALLY early! My first class of the day was a Rt. 66 Road Trip taught by Cort Anderson. We had to be in the parking lot ready to leave at 7:45 am! (His classes are always worth it!)
We started out at the same places I had taken Jim on Thursday so I took the time to try to find some details and perspectives I didn't get to shoot then.

Cort had an assignment for all of us. We took turns all standing in the same spot and had one minute to shoot. We were suppose to pick one shot to share, but I couldn't pick between the two.

Here are some favorites from other stops along Rt. 66.

The Shoe Tree!

My favorite stop on the trip was at the old train! I'd been to it a few years ago on another Rt. 66 trip. I've been wanting to see it again for a while. Cort found it and took us there!! (Thanks again!)

My afternoon class was the one I was most excited about!!! Jim Cayer was here from Cali to teach us about Sports and Action Photography! We got to shoot a lacrosse game. It was something new for all of us. Here's some of my favorite shots.

I had so much fun in my classes....not sure how anything could top it! During dinner they gave out the Chris Monaghan award. Chris was an amazing part of our group and we all miss her so much! The award is created to honor someone in our group that represents everything that Chris was. This year the award went to Debi Allen!! <3 No one deserves this award more than her! Congrats!

After dinner the after party started!
Our theme for the night was "Mafia Night!" I couldn't wait to get all dressed up.

Elvis showed up to perform for us!!!! Security didn't want us on stage with him though! LOL First picture is taken by Amanda Yonut of me getting pulled off stage! Thanks for the shot Amanda!

Being attacked by the paparazzi before leaving the party.

Meet up's are always a great time. I look forward to it every year. I miss you guys already! (Special thanks to Ed & Sandi from Your Pixel Perfect Photography for bringing the photobooth!)
See you Next Year!
